Privacy Policy

• Waitlist submissions: your email address, signup time and the form source label, such as homepage or waitlist page. A form label does not establish how you found us.
• Account details such as email address, login identifiers, and authentication metadata.
• Watchlist details you provide, including names, relationships, ages, locations, and notes.
• Monitoring results, candidate matches, review decisions, and source links.
• Public-site page views, device/browser details, referring domains, permitted campaign labels and limited conversion events used to improve the service.

We use waitlist information for availability updates and account information to provide access, save watchlists, show available possible matches and maintain review history. We also use information to prevent abuse and improve the product. Ongoing monitoring and match alerts are not currently available to waitlist subscribers. We do not sell watchlist data.

We use PostHog for limited public-site analytics with browser identifiers stored in local storage. The current integration respects the browser's Do Not Track setting. It does not create identified analytics profiles or send submitted email addresses, watched names, private notes or match details as analytics event properties.

Analytics collection is disabled on sign-in, recovery, customer workspace and administration routes. Session replay, automatic click capture and automatic exception capture are disabled. Public page URLs are recorded without query strings or fragments; referring URLs are reduced to their domain, with only permitted campaign labels retained separately.

Operational providers still process information needed to host the site, store records and deliver account emails. Disabling public analytics is not the same as deleting an account, a waitlist entry or existing operational records.

You can request correction or deletion of account or waitlist information, including removal from the waitlist. Some operational records may be retained when needed for security, abuse prevention, billing, legal compliance, or audit history. Do not send passwords or account verification links with your request.

Watchlist information can be sensitive even when it references public records. Do not use IfTheyDie to harass, stalk, impersonate, dox, or bypass someone's privacy boundaries.
