IfTheyDie is being developed to help users review possible matches from public obituary, memorial and related sources. Ongoing monitoring and match alerts are not currently available to waitlist subscribers. Coverage, check frequency and final pricing will be shared before activation; see pricing and availability. A possible match is not a certified legal fact. Users are responsible for verifying information before taking consequential action.
Acceptable use
- Use the service only for lawful, respectful monitoring and review.
- Do not use the service to harass, threaten, impersonate, stalk, or exploit people.
- Do not submit data you are not authorized to use.
- Do not scrape, abuse, reverse engineer, or overload the service.

Source coverage is incomplete, records can be delayed or wrong, and false positives are possible. The service is provided for monitoring assistance and does not replace official records, professional advice, or legal verification.
